I finally made it to Tuscora Park in New Philadelphia yesterday. I'm not sure why I waited so long to visit the carousel there since it's only a forty minute drive. It was so much more than I had expected. It was in a beautiful setting with the well maintained kiddie rides next to a pool, tennis court and small lake. Very nice community atmosphere.
What I wasn't expecting was so many black and brown horses. It's difficult enough to shoot a carousel being that they are under a roof but these dark horses totally through me off. Makes me wonder why I haven't seen many of these before. Oh well. Maybe I just haven't ever noticed them.
