Going Solo

I'm pretty sure that I'm going to throw up. No, I'm not pregnant (although thanks for asking Mick) but was selected for a six week solo exhibition at Massillon Museum's Studio M. The opening reception is Friday October 26th which is the same weekend of the Massillon-McKinley game and that could be bad. But I think the following Friday may be the opening reception for the Stark County Artists Exhibition and that could be very good. There seemed to be a rather large crowd at last year's opening. I would be happy if at least half of that crowd went down to the Studio M space to check my photography out.
OK, I'm really going to throw up now.

Oh. My. God. Can you hear me screaming in Virginia? What fantastic, incredible news!! I'm so happy for you (and may have to make a trip to Ohio for the occasion!). Wooo!

Go throw up. Then celebrate. You deserve it.

Okay, the nausea has subsided somewhat except when I think about all the things that I need to do to get ready. I know, take a deep breath...

One thing at a time. One day at a time. You'll get it done. This is exciting stuff. Embrace it and realize you really do deserve this kind of recognition. Validation is a wonderful thing. (And it shouldn't make you nauseous!)
